Women in the rural areas have a lot of naturally acquired produce which is seasonal. In a bid to ensure they get income all year round, they have embarked on a value addition scheme which includes drying fruits. At the recently held International Day Commemorations in Murewa District, a lot of women brought their wares to showcase what they can do. There is need to tap on the initiatives that are being driven by women led organizations in improving diverse livelihoods options for rural communities which is key to resilience building.
