Human Settlements Policy Awareness

Following the approval of the Human settlement policy by Cabinet in October 2019 the Civic Forum on Human Development conducted a key stakeholder dialogue workshop aimed at creating awareness and sensitization for community stakeholders’ participation in the policy. The workshop was conducted on the 15^th of December 2020 at Rainbow Towers Hotel which was aimed at identifying mechanisms and approaches for supporting the operationalization of the human settlement policy in Zimbabwe with the view of promoting multi-stakeholder engagement on human settlements in Zimbabwe. The event was graced by representatives of academia, civil society, housing developers, and representatives of the central government in Zimbabwe.CFHD is a critical partner in Zimbabwe the crafting of the national housing policy as a foundational key area of operation for the Civic Forum on Human Development.
